The Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Borjana Krišto, addressed the public today after the Council of Ministers’ session and stated that the ministers did not discuss two points.
Kristo said that she was extremely glad that they concluded today’s session, during which several laws concerning the European perspective were discussed. These laws included the Law on Foreigners, courts, organization of the wine market, certain agreements, various reports, and information.
“I am satisfied with what we accomplished today. We did not express our opinions on two points. One pertains to the law on courts, and the other pertains to the law on the organization of the wine market,” she said.
She explained that both laws were supposed to be on the agenda, and the ministers did not agree due to certain disagreements that arose before the session.
“This is solely about technical matters. We have left these comments to be agreed upon over the next two days to facilitate sending these laws for further procedures in accordance with the earlier agreement. I hope that this will be completed during this week, and on Monday, we will include all the laws on the agenda,” she said.
Kristo also referred to the law on conflict of interest and stated that everyone agreed with it.
“It is a systematic law. We agreed that the Ministry of Justice needs additional time so that the law will be ready and on the agenda by the next session,” she said.
