MOSKVA – Rusija ne vidi mogućnost za dugoročnu stabilizaciju situacije na Kosovu i Metohiji, zbog huškačke politike SAD-a i Europske unije, izjavio je zamjenik ministra vanjskih poslova Aleksandar Gruško.
The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Alexander Grushko, stated that Russia does not see the possibility of long-term stabilization of the situation in Kosovo and Metohija due to the provocative policies of the United States and the European Union.
“There is no prospect for long-term stabilization. Kosovo leader (Albin) Kurti, who maintains tensions on the ground and expels Serbs, counts on his bosses, Washington and Brussels, to further pressure Belgrade, seeking recognition of the region that declared independence in violation of UN Resolution 1244,” said Grushko.
According to him, “the West’s response to Kosovo’s provocations is slow and inconsistent.”
“And that only convinces Kurti that such tactics will eventually yield results,” Grushko concluded.
