WASHINGTON/MOSTAR – The barbaric rampage of Hamas terrorists in Israel has opened a new war front in the Middle East.
Although the majority of the civilized world sympathizes with Israel, these days we have seen celebrations of the massacre of the Jewish people worldwide, including in BiH.
Milan Sitarski, an analyst from the Institute for Socio-Political Research (IDPI) in Mostar, and Boris Havel, an expert on the Middle East from the Faculty of Political Science in Zagreb, discussed the causes, consequences, and the impact of this conflict on BiH for “Fokus” RTV Herceg Bosna.
Professor Havel stated that the Jewish people, after the incursion of Hamas terrorists on the holiday of Torah (Bible) by land, sea, and air, experienced the largest massacre since the Holocaust. He emphasized that Hamas operatives carried out ritualistic murders with gruesome sadistic elements.
Sitarski suggested that Hamas, like many other terrorist groups, resorts to barbaric and brutal killings to sow general panic.
“The residents of Gaza are hostages of Hamas, and Hamas uses civilians as cannon fodder,” said Sitarski, adding that the goal of this Hamas attack is to undermine attempts to establish diplomatic relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia, which would, at least in principle, improve relations in the Middle East.
About the Support for Hamas in BiH
The guests also discussed the repercussions of the conflict in Israel initiated by Hamas on BiH.
Sitarski mentioned that the masks have fallen as Željko Komšić expressed support for Hamas. “If this had happened ten years ago, our job in unmasking Komšić would have been much easier,” Sitarski said.
Havel also commented that it’s good that Komšić has come forward in this way.
“Now, the grotesque image he represents is clear to the citizens of BiH and the entire world,” said Havel.
