US Embassy in Zagreb does not nurture same values as our Dearest Embassy in Sarajevo. Namely, our Dearest Embassy in Sarajevo has yet to denounce or issue an apology to the citizens of BIH for directly assisting pro-ustaša political parties to come to power in the Federation BiH in 2010.
On the contrary, they punished journalists from this portal for critising their actions.
On the other hand, US embassy in Zagreb nurtures true anti-fascist heritage of the USA.
Yesterday, this embassy denounced in strongest terms the neo-nazi and pro-ustaša viewpoints expressed during the demonstration of a group of people in Zagreb on Sunday.
“We denounce any attempt to connect the United States with this hateful ideology.”
This was the message from the US Embassy in Zagreb after last Sunday’s gathering of supporters and members of the Autochtonous Croatian Rights Party at the main square in Zagreb, with the main goal of “swear their oath to the Homeland and send a message of support to the American president Donald Trump.”
“That insituation is an insult to the memory of 186.000 US soldiers who were killed in Europe in the fight against nazi Germany and several millions of innocent victims killed during the Second World War”, the Embassy states.
We congratulate the Embassy in Zagreb, and implore them to check on the activities of our Dearest Embassy in Sarajevo, which through their actions violating the Constitution of the Federation BiH helped establish and solidify a political party that boasts statues and portraits of Ante Pavelić in their offices and whose annual calendars include Ustaša coat of arms and the message “Za dom spremni”.
Maybe this is why the ustaša supporters from the AHSP in Zagreb thought that US was standing with the fascists?
We would also like to call on the anti-fascist US Embassy in Zagreb to initiate sanctions within the State Department, against irresponsible individuals from our Dearest Embassy in Sarajevo, for example the ambassador Cvetković and her boyfriend, who in 2010 thought up the ustaša-unistaris coalition Platforma.
This coalition, aside from robbing the citizens of BiH and burning BIH buildings, caused also significant deterioration of the inter-ethnic relations between Bosniaks and Croats in BiH, which was built with painstaking efforts for years.
We remind the US Embassy in Zagreb that members of HSP were distinguished guests of our Dearest Embassy in Sarajevo, although at that time we had already reported publicly that they held busts of Ante Pavelić in their offices.
To this day, our Dearest Embassy in BiH did not issue an apology to BiH citizens for that mistaken policy move.
Instead, they continue to violate the First Amendment of the US Constitution, by punishing BiH citizens for critizing their move.
Again, congratulations to the ZG Embassy, you give us in BiH also our hope back, that the US still stands with its antifascist heritage.
You also confirm our views that our Dearest Embassy in Sarajevo is a rebel embassy that is accountable to the Sarajevo Town mafia and not Washington, DC.
With that in mind, as a sign of gratitude as well as material evidence, we send you the bust of Ante Pavelić in your office in Buzin, so that you could yourself have a proof of the kind of politicians that our Dearest Embassy in Sarajevo supported.
Because people say that you are not a dictatorship but a democracy.
