A former model, Jill Dot, lived in the harem of a Saudi arms dealer as one of his 11 “pleasure wives.” In an episode of “60 Minutes,” hosted by Peter Stefanovic, who was born in Serbia, she revealed harrowing details – a message on her hand written in blood is just part of it.
Jill Dot, known as a Vogue model, was struggling with an eating disorder when she met Adnan Khashoggi in Monaco in 1980, according to news.com.au.
“I realized that I had never met such an intelligent, talkative, witty man like Adnan. Yes, he was very wealthy, but somehow his strength had a peaceful side. I slowly fell for his charms,” said Jill Dot, who shared the following details:
“He pulled me by the sleeve and wrote, ‘I love you.’ I thought, ‘Oh my God, that’s blood.’ I was a little shocked. But I thought it was very funny and sweet at the same time.”
Speaking on Channel Nine’s show, she said that she soon became one of his 11 wives in the harem, which is legally permitted in Saudi Arabia, and she never saw herself as a prostitute.
In her memoir, “The Currency of Love: A Courageous Journey to Finding the Love Within,” she revealed, “At that moment, I become a member of Adnan’s harem, exchanging with other women for the pleasure of a man I love. He told me, ‘I want to take care of you. I want to make a five-year contract.'” She added that he was a “great lover.”
“He Paid Modeling Agencies to Sleep with Models”
“He had a complex with several apartments… several different houses. I had my house, and Adnan’s weekend home or Adnan’s house or part of the estate was private. I met him at his house or the house I was in,” she continued.
Gill believes that Khashoggi paid large sums of money to modeling agencies for them to sleep with models, beautiful young women who would come to his parties and sleep with him or his friends.
