Performance of Mario Ivanković After the First 15 Rounds of the WWin League of Bosnia and Herzegovina

The BH Premier League (WWin Liga) brings fresh excitement today, with the spotlight on a small Herzegovinian derby between Posušje and Zrinjski. The match kicks off at 6:30 PM at Mokri Dolac, and Zrinjski has the chance to tie Željezničar’s record of 26 unbeaten games in the domestic league.

Zrinjski in Excellent Form

Under the leadership of Mario Ivanković, Zrinjski remains unbeaten this season. In the first 15 rounds, the team has amassed an impressive 38 points, marking the best start in club history. Their latest victory over Sarajevo at Koševo (0-1) has further boosted the confidence of the Mostar-based team.

Ahead of the match against Posušje, Ivanković highlighted the challenge they face:

“We know it won’t be an easy game. Posušje always plays with every ounce of energy against us, as they did in Mostar. I hope that at least in Posušje, we will have the support of our fans.”

Fan Troubles

The Zrinjski coach also addressed the ongoing challenges regarding support for the Ultras:

“What’s happening is beyond reason. Our fans are often denied entry to stadiums or have their attendance limited. I hope this unfair treatment ends soon because it’s always better to have them with us than without them.”

Posušje, a Tough Opponent

Posušje, on the other hand, is known for giving Zrinjski a tough fight, especially on home turf. Mokri Dolac is renowned for its heated atmosphere and the resilience of the home team, which will undoubtedly aim to stop Zrinjski on their path to making history.

Other Matches Today

Besides the derby in Posušje, today’s schedule includes two additional matches:

  • Igman Konjic vs. Velež (1:00 PM)
  • Radnik Bijeljina vs. Sarajevo (4:00 PM)

However, all eyes will be on Mokri Dolac to see if Zrinjski can tie Željezničar’s record and continue their unbeaten streak.

Will the Plemići keep making history, or will Posušje prove to be a tough nut to crack? The answer will be clear tonight at 6:30 PM.

About the Clubs:
