European Parliament Foreign Affairs Committee Chair David McAllister said that the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina is worrying, at a time where Europe and the world at large are facing the biggest challenge to global peace and security after the end of World War II.
He stressed in his Twitter post that the implementation of the Dayton Agreement is ever so important.
He also recalled that the European Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee had begun talks on Bosnia and Herzegovina with EU Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi and BiH High Representative Christian Schmidt, as well as with BiH Presidency Chairman Željko Komšić and members Šefik Džaferović and Milorad Dodik, and leader of the Croat Democratic Union (HDZ) and speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dragan Čović.
