Dodik “hit” by Blinken’s letter to Konaković: The question is whether we have anything more to talk about with the Troika

The President of the Bosnian Serb entity, RS, Milorad Dodik, commented on the letter from U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Foreign Minister Elmedin Konaković. In the letter, Blinken urges Konaković to “apply pressure” to accelerate the construction of the South Interconnection.

Dodik made these comments ahead of a scheduled meeting of the coalition at the state level, referring to the representatives of the Troika as “Sarajevo parties.”

“The question is whether the SNSD (Alliance of Independent Social Democrats) has anything to discuss with the representatives of Sarajevo parties, who obviously follow the instructions of their guardians rather than acting in the interest of the people living in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In his opinion, the British and Americans are also doing the same, and the question is what other criminal activities high officials in BiH will be accused of “at the behest of the West.” “And now someone should believe that all this is because they want to protect BiH from the influence of Russia, so they will push their gas at a price so favorable that it dazzles them in the Federation, just like in Europe.

And that is their aid and policy of peace, respecting Dayton and sovereignty? These Americans really think we are illiterate and that no one knows how to add up two and two and why they do what they do, to protect their interests. Where they can’t bribe someone, as they failed with us in the RS (Republika Srpska), they enter with force.

He says that they in the RS say “no” to that violence, resisting their pressure and threats because they are determined to preserve the property of the RS.

“The way to control that property is to destroy our institutions so that they can control everything and everyone in the RS and do whatever they want. I can guarantee that they will never see that, and we will fight with all legal means and not allow some illegal person to distribute the property of the Republika Srpska to some Britons, Americans, or anyone else. ‘Troika’ with their statements shows that they represent American and British interests. The Republika Srpska constantly repeats that it wants to negotiate with the Federation and its elected representatives, not with foreigners, and today I stand by that. We want the decisions made to be in the interest of all people, not foreigners. ‘Troika’ will say whether the interests of foreigners are more important than the people of BiH, whether they are allowed to oppose them, or if they have already threatened to question their legitimacy, which is indeed questionable if they adhere to what is agreed upon,” Dodik concluded.
